“We are under massive cyber-attack!” It is almost certain that at some point in their careers, managers will be confronted with this urgency. In this conversation, Filipe Domingues and Pedro Latoeiro, guest speakers from the executive training program at Nova SBE and founders of the Center for Cooperation in Cyberspace, will share real-life situations of cyberattacks to raise awareness of emerging risks generated by variables such as geopolitical tensions or Artificial Intelligence. For example, the case of a manager who was persuaded to transfer 25 million dollars to a fraudulent account during a seemingly “normal” work video conference, where he turned out to be the only human. Even more importantly, the conversation will reinforce that cybersecurity is now a key management competency considering European regulations. The time when it was merely a technical concern, or the sole responsibility of IT is long gone.
