APPDI – Associação Portuguesa para a Diversidade e Inclusão is the Portuguese association for Diversity & Inclusion aiming to promote it in multiple organizations and civil society through cooperation with national and international institutions. Nova SBE is among 460 organizations signatory of the Charter to foster DE&I policies in the workplace. The signatory assume Diversity as an ethical imperative, translating into a fundamental guiding principle of their internal and external actions, being part of their values and institutional identity.
Nova SBE joined the Portuguese Group of Responsible Companies Movement (GRACE), which gathers national companies committed to incorporating sustainability and corporate social responsibility principles in their governance towards a healthier entrepreneurial network and a social economy. Our team works directly with the Gender Equality Cluster.
G4G Project is a Harvard-born global mentoring program that aims to empower women to lead. They do so by creating mentoring circles for girls and young women across 18 countries around the world. These circles are facilitated by G4G Mentors who are professional women from various sectors and industries. This provides an opportunity for mentees to engage with women from different backgrounds, and to grow their personal networks.
Casa Pia de Lisboa’s mission is to ensure the education, training, and care of children and young people, particularly those who are in situations of social vulnerability. Our partnership aims to create more opportunities for youth in vulnerable contexts within Nova SBE ecosystem such as professional internships and trainings.
In 2013, Nova SBE officially became a member of PRME. In 2020, Nova SBE became one of the participating institutions of PRME’s fourth Champions, confirming its pledge to transform business and management education in support of the SDG over the next two years. Furthermore, in 2021, Nova SBE was appointed Chapter Iberia’s Chair. In this Steering Committee, which also has five other Portuguese and Spanish signatories – UPF, IPVC, ISEG, and ISCTE Business School –the school is leading the way in implementing a 2022-2025 Strategic Plan.
