Santander Totta bank awarded the excellency shown by Nova School of Business and Economics students by granting scholarships – entitled “Nova SBE – Santander Totta Excelência” – to the top 30 Economics and Management Bachelor Degree students.

Prompted by the will to distinguish the education, study, and research environment, Santander Totta established an impactful and meaningful partnership with Nova SBE by granting scholarships for the next five years, making sure that 30 students won’t be required to pay the tuition fees during their bachelors’ first year.

When questioned about this initiative, Daniel Traça, Nova SBE’s Dean, stated that “(…) it’s an honor to count on Santander Totta’s support (…). This partnership reinforces our effort of bringing the Nova SBE community together: students, alumni, partners, faculty, staff and society, so that everyone (…) can help these new generations to improve and develop their potential – a potential that has an impact on their future, on society, on the world.”

The scholarships are announced to the students when they’re accepted, in September. The award ceremony and the students’ graduation takes place, annually, in November.
