The International Masters in Management of Nova School of Business and Economics has been ranked the 17th best program worldwide in 2017.
The school continues to have two Masters in the Top 20 worldwide – Management and Finance – and is the best ranked Portuguese school, overall.
CEMS Master’s in International Management came in 9th place in the FT ranking - Nova SBE is the exclusive Portuguese member school within the alliance of 30 schools across 5 continents.
The rankings are a confirmation of the work that Nova SBE has been doing in continuing to be a global business school with a meaningful impact, with almost 90% of the Financial Times’ aims achieved, including student satisfaction and a 99% employability rate within 3 months of graduation.
Professor Daniel Traça, Dean of the school, highlights that “These results confirm the strategy of the pursuit of excellence and internationalization we have been following. We hope to continue on this journey, focused on our mission of inspiring students to develop their talent, find their purpose to become the changemakers of tomorrow. As always we believe this strategy will be recognized in this and other rankings, as well as by students and recruiting companies all around the world. It is a strategy that will make the school an international brand in higher education.”
The internationalization of the school is also reinforced by the fact that this year the Masters’ applications rose by 30%, with more international applications than national. On August 28th, Nova SBE welcomed new 600 Masters students, from more than 40 nationalities.
