To mark the 50th anniversary of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Nova SBE hosted a commemorative event to celebrate the date. The ceremony began at 12:30 pm with the sculpture's inauguration by the artist Superlinox, by Clara Rowland, Vice-Provost for Culture, and Pedro Oliveira, Dean of Nova SBE.   

The event was also the stage for launching a photography competition promoted by the Nova SBE Students' Union and Nova Creative Hub in partnership with Nova SBE Alumni & Community Engagement. The competition will reward the most creative photographs of the sculpture inaugurated today at the Carcavelos campus, which the Nova SBE Students' Union will publish on their social networks. The three winners will be announced on December 12 and awarded a voucher worth €100 each. 

The ceremony ended with a live drawing session from a group of art students from the municipality of Cascais, followed by a guided tour of the Nova SBE campus.
