AfonsoAlmeida Costa is an Assistant Professor at Nova School of Business andEconomics. He holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Management (Strategy) fromINSEAD. He also holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Economics from Nova School ofBusiness and Economics. His main research interests are in the domain ofcompetitive and corporate strategy. Prior to turning toacademia; Afonso worked for a short stint as an M&A analyst at EspíritoSanto Investment Bank (now Haitong Bank).
