Tomorrow, September 13th, will be Nova Descoberta’s last day – an initiative organized by Nova School of Business and Economics, dedicated to welcoming the new Economics and Management undergraduate students.
Thus the university has prepared activities entirely dedicated to the beginning of this new school year, in which new students will get to know the university, their colleagues and can start to consider their future, being guided by 2nd and 3rd year students.
The final day will have a unique and socially impactful activity. Following Professor Pedro Santo-Clara’s inspiring speech, at 9:00 a.m., there will be a volunteering activity – organized alongside the Municipality of Cascais – in which a public garden will be planted from scratch. The initiative will be presided by a representative from the Municipality of Cascais, who will talk about the importance of this gesture for the municipality and for society, and afterwards the attendees will plant the garden. The future garden is located at Quinta de São Gonçalo, next to Nova SBE’s new campus, and it will be farmed by 130 students who will also get the opportunity to visit the new campus.
Best of luck to all the new 17/18 students and, once again, welcome!
