Nova SBE Launches Innovation Program Focused on Sustainability
Promoted by Nova | 07 March 2024 Nova SBE Launches Innovation Program Focused on Sustainability

Open to students, researchers, startups, and SMEs, the ‘Future Cities, Future Communities Innovation Accelerator’ focuses on a broad and diverse vision of the various themes that impact the area of sustainability, allowing all applicants to explore synergies and collaborations with the initiative's partners: Banco Primus, Cascais City Council, ACA Group, Brisa Group, Jerónimo Martins/Pingo Doce, LTPLabs, MoraisLeitão, Schréder and SIBS.

With two different registration phases - the first (already open) is aimed at startups and SMEs, and the second (available to students and researchers) will start on April 15 - the program proposes intense months of collaboration between the participants and the partner companies, which will culminate in the Sharing Day (scheduled for July 2) where the results of the collaborations initiated under the ‘Future Cities, Future Communities Innovation Accelerator’ will be presented.

The analysis and study of the green economy and sustainable cities is the primary proposal of this innovation accelerator, which promotes interdisciplinarity to develop creative and innovative solutions for the cities and communities of the future. 'Carbon Neutrality & Net Zero', 'Urban Living, Proximity & Community Journey Services', and 'Construction, Infrastructure & Architecture' are the three main areas of study planned for the first edition of the Nova SBE Innovation Ecosystem accelerator.

Applications for the first edition of the ‘Future Cities, Future Communities Innovation Accelerator’ can be made on the program's official website
