Nova SBE is organizing a cycle of conferences “E agora? (What now?)”, during May and June as part of its “We all have a role to play” initiative. The conferences will encourage public debate on the different challenges faced by private companies, and the Portuguese public, focusing on the areas of the Economy, Tourism, Health, Digital Transformation, and Trade & Distribution.

Open to the general public and the press, the second conference “Tourism – the reinvention of a sector” will be held on May 15 at 11 am. It aims to discuss how the tourism sector should adjust its strategies to face new challenges, given its importance for our economy.

The conference will be moderated by Daniel Traça and will include several high-level specialists from the sector namely José Theotónio (Grupo Pestana), Luís Araújo (Turismo de Portugal), Margarida Almeida (Amazing Evolution Management), Sérgio Guerreiro (Westmont Institute of Tourism and Hospitality and Nova SBE) and Thierry Ligonnière (VINCI Airports).
