This year, Patient Innovation, in collaboration with EIT Health, and several European institutions, organizes this year the 3rd edition of the Patient Innovation Bootcamp, whose first week of work will take place in Lisbon, at the NOVA SBE campus, between August 29th and September 2nd.
This year will be the 3rd edition of the Patient Innovation Bootcamp, a collaboration between Patient Innovation, EIT Health, Copenhagen Business School, NOVA Medical School, NOVA SBE, IESE Business School, Biocat, Glintt and Denmark’s Technical University. The Patient Innovation Bootcamp 2022 is an acceleration program that aims to support patients, informal caregivers and collaborators in the development and implementation of innovative solutions that they themselves created to solve a need imposed by their health condition. To this end, the Patient Innovation Bootcamp will consist of two face-to-face weeks, the first in Lisbon and the third in Copenhagen, with a week of online sessions from Barcelona between the two others. In both formats, e-learning materials designed to help teams develop and launch their devices, diagnostic tools or digital health innovations will be available. During the week in Lisbon, the teams will focus on the development and validation of their solutions; then they will develop their business plan during the week in Barcelona; and finally, they will learn to consolidate, implement and disseminate their solutions in the last week of this bootcamp that takes place in Copenhagen.
In this 3rd edition of the Patient Innovation Bootcamp we will have the participation of 10 incredible teams from 8 different countries, which present a wide variety of solutions, from applications to devices. Among them, we have teams from Portugal, Denmark, Spain, France, Poland, United Kingdom, The Netherlands and even Ukraine.
