Joana Pestana is a PhD student in Economics at Nova SBE and a researcher at the Nova SBE Health Economics & Management Knowledge Center. She is also research fellow at the European Training Network Improving Quality of Care in Europe funded under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant from the European Commission. Since 2018 she is member of the Portuguese Health Economics Association (APES). Before the PhD she has worked in IT and consulting in the financial sector.
