LESE - Lisbon Economics and Statistics of Education, will take place at Lisbon School of Economics and Management (ISEG), in Lisbon, on the 18th and 19th of January 2024, hosted in a partnership between ISEG and Nova SBE Economics of Education Knowledge Center.
This 7th edition of LESE will continue our very successful tradition of getting together researchers, students and education analysts, providing a forum to present methodological and applied research and to discuss quantitative results on education analysis.
The conference will include lectures by keynote speakers Susan Dynarski (Harvard Graduate School of Education, USA) and Simon Burgess (University of Bristol, UK), a "Machine Learning in Education" course, by Tommaso Agasisti (Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy), two round tables, "What PIRLS 2021 and PISA 2022 Tell us About Pandemic Losses" and "After the Pandemic: What it Will Take to Improve National Educational Systems", as well as organised thematic debates and contributed parallel sessions.
