Nova SBE Economics of Education Knowledge Center launched the study "Rotatividade dos Docentes nas Escolas Públicas Portuguesas". This study reveals that the turnover rate of teachers in Portuguese public schools is, on average, higher than 20% and is directly related to the percentage of students with social support, the classifications in national exams and the parents’ level of education.
