The joint work of Eduardo Costa and Joana Pestana, researchers of the Nova SBE Health Economics & Management, on people without family doctors was highlighted in the media, namely Público. The analysis of the data available between 2015 and 2021 says that the average number of users that each family doctor has on their list has decreased in recent years. The only exception is the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region, where the average number of people on each doctor list has grown.
