Samantha Sim
Assistant Professor

Samantha is an Assistant Professor at Nova SBE. She received her Ph.D. in Business from Singapore Management University. 

Her research interests are in compassion and mindfulness at the workplace, as well as organisational justice, and cross-cultural differences. Currently, she is interested in how the emotion of compassion can affect job outcomes. For instance, how does feeling compassion for others change the way we view and respond to workplace rules? What does compassionate leadership look like?

Samantha’s research has been published in top management journals, such as Journal of Applied Psychology and Academy of Management Journal. 

Samantha teaches Organisational Behaviour- and Human Resource- related courses. She is also a member of the Leadership for Impact Centre at Nova SBE and Mindfulness Initiative at Singapore Management University. She also is a faculty adviser for the student-led Nova Mindfulness Club at Nova SBE.
