Pedro Neves é Professor Catedrático na Nova SBE. Recebeu o seu doutoramento do ISCTE-IUL e completou a sua investigação de pós-doutoramento na Universidade de Delaware. A sua investigação foi publicada em revistas como o British Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology; Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management. Também publicou/editou seis livros, incluindo o Handbook of Methods in Leadership Research (com Birgit Schyns e Rosalie Hall; Edward Elgar, 2017). Actualmente é editor associado do Journal of Applied Behavioral Science e é membro do Conselho Editorial de várias revistas, tais como The Leadership Quarterly. Na Nova ensinou Comportamento Organizacional, Persuasão e Negociação, e Empreendedorismo, e colabora em vários programas de educação executiva abertos e personalizados.

Os seus principais interesses de investigação incluem processos de liderança e relações interpessoais, particularmente o seu potencial lado negro; gestão da mudança organizacional, com ênfase na antecipação da resistência à mudança; saúde ocupacional, nomeadamente como os indivíduos percebem os factores de stress; e comportamento empreendedor.
