Yesterday, July 23rd, Nova School of Business & Economics hosted in its new campus, in Carcavelos, the Nova SBE Investment Day, a Nova SBE and Zero Gravity – the acceleration program of Nova SBE Venture Lab – initiative.
The Nova SBE Investment Day gathered investors, startups, and personalities from the entrepreneurship ecosystem to disclose all the initiatives developed by Nova SBE and, predominantly, all the work that has been done and developed with startups from all over the world with the Zero Gravity acceleration program. The event allowed attendees not only to know this program’s first batch, which is made of all the startups at Nova SBE Venture Lab – Nova SBE’s knowledge center for innovation and entrepreneurship – but also a startup with Nova SBE Alumni, entitled Guest U, and another from one of the corporate programs of Open Innovation, the ProGrow.
The Nova SBE Investment Day was an important event given that it reinforced the strong connections among academia, the start-up ecosystem, and the corporate world, and the role that Nova SBE Venture Lab takes in helping young talents find innovative business solutions, assisting companies with whom they partner with.
With this initiative, investors, startups, and other entrepreneurs also had the chance of seeing the new Nova SBE campus, in Carcavelos, an innovative space “for people, dialogue, and opportunity”.
