Promoted by Nova | 03 May 2021 Nova School of Business & Economics and Le Wagon Are Launching a Second Intensive Bootcamp in Data Science

Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) and Le Wagon, the renowned coding and world-leading bootcamp French school, joined forces for the second consecutive year to present an intensive training course in data science.

Leading the way in how to create value with data, this bootcamp analyzes the necessary skills and concepts to integrate a data science team – an area with increasing potential and professional demand – and it is aimed at recent graduates and professionals who intend to acquire or reinforce skills in the data science area.

The course will consist of a six-month part-time program. It will cover Python and SQL programming, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, facial recognition, data engineering, project management in tech, and other artificial intelligence mechanisms in business.

Applications are already open at Le Wagon’s website, and to apply, candidates need only to have basic mathematical and programming skills. The program will have a hybrid format (at the Nova SBE Campus, in Carcavelos, and remotely) and will take place from July 10 to December 11.

To capture and stimulate the interest of possible candidates in this area, in May, there will be a series of four workshops, entitled #The Data Journals”, with some of the course’s faculty and/or renowned experts in data science, allowing participants to have closer contact with some theoretical perceptions, the course’s technical aspect, and witness code programming.
