We are proud to announce that Nova SBE has, once again, been distinguished by the prestigious Financial Times rankings, in the 2020 edition, as the best-ranked Portuguese business school in the International Master's in Finance rising 7 places and considered #14 in the world and #12 in Europe.

Nova SBE ranked consistently well in all evaluated criteria but was especially high-ranked, in the Top 10 and Top 20 worldwide, in international course experience (7th position), career progress (13th position), value for money (15th position), and international mobility (16th position), which refers to the placement of graduates in multinational companies around the world.

Daniel Traça, the Dean, states “We believe that the rankings are the result of our ambition, drive, and commitment to education with eyes set on the future. We educate professionals prepared to enter an increasingly global and disruptive job market and, therefore, maintain the ability to adapt to all challenges. This is our top priority today, as it was yesterday and it will continue to be tomorrow.”

Rita Cunha, Deputy Dean, Pre-Experience Studies, commented: “We are very pleased with this result, which reinforces our ambition to constantly improve the quality of the program, the student learning experience, the connection between students and companies and organizations at a national and international level, and the impact that, as a school, we want to - and we should - have in society and in the world.”

The Master's in Finance program – aimed at creating analytical skills, solving real problems and challenges, and developing original approaches –, was created in 2007, is entirely taught in English, and includes innovative classes such as Sustainable Finance and Data Analytics in Finance.
