Promoted by Nova | 15 May 2020 Nova SBE's Social Leapfrog Program Has Now Open Applications

The second edition of Nova School of Business & Economics' Social Leapfrog program will be open to applications from June 1 until June 15. Social organizations based in Portugal will have the opportunity to participate in a free reflection and capacitation program for three years.

The Social Leapfrog program is part of the Social Equity Initiative, a BPI, "la Caixa" Foundation, and Nova SBE partnership, led by Nova SBE's Leadership for Impact Knowledge Center.

Organizations that wish to be part of this program should apply online from June 1 until June 15 on this page. Program rules and more detailed information about the application procedure will be available mid-May. The program's team will evaluate all applications, and a jury of three to six members will decide which organizations will be chosen as the ten finalists.

The program runs for three years and aims to help organizations leapfrog in terms of impact and sustainability with the help of the Nova SBE community. It does this by providing those social organizations with access to the School's instruction, faculty, consulting projects with students, Master's theses, internships with students, and mentorship with management experts, among other resources involving the entire community.

The program's first edition took place in February 2019, and the selected organizations were: A Barragem, Ajuda de Mãe, Alzheimer Portugal, Biovilla, Cercica, Mezze, and Semear.

To this day, the program involved more than 400 people from social organizations, and Nova SBE students, alumni, faculty, staff, and partners.
