Last March 20th, the Inclusive Community Forum (ICF) organized its annual event, entitled Inclusive Talks, at Nova School of Business & Economics’ (Nova SBE) new campus, in which it presented the deliverables and outcomes of the theme it worked on since September 2017.

As a result of a challenge proposed by Rui Diniz (Executive Vice-President of José de Mello Saúde) and Nova SBE, the ICF is an initiative dedicated to the lives of people with disabilities, and it aims to promote a more open and inclusive community. Every three semesters, the ICF identifies and works on a central theme that promotes its goals and missions and last March 20th, at 06:00 p.m., in Nova SBE’s Hovione Atrium, it presented in its annual event the theme of employability and its outcomes.

The Inclusive Talks event also had a panel with people who were a part of the pilot projects implemented by ICF and who shared impactful testimonials that demonstrated the community’s involvement. The ICF chose three projects as the basis for the proposed solutions: HR4Inclusion, Peer2Peer, and Inclusive Future. Innovatively, the ICF presented in this digital platform, in partnership with Design the Future, ten successful stories of employability and ensured 24 companies took the commitment of being more inclusive. Among said companies, there was the Municipality of Cascais, CTT, Brisa, Accenture, BNP Paribas, El Corte Inglés, Pestana group, IBM, Millennium BCP, and others.
