Students Joana Marchão, Ilaria Vazzoler, and Sabrina Giovisi, from Nova School of Business & Economics, are the winners of the Portuguese finals of Brandstorm 2018, L’Oréal’s well-known entrepreneurial management game.

This is an international competition, meant for senior university students all over the world, that is organized to challenge students to come up with innovative ideas in the Beauty industry that may be implemented by one of L’Oréal’s top brands.

Joana Marchão, Ilaria Vazzoler, and Sabrina Giovisi are part of the “Hair we are” team that worked for six months to answer this year’s challenge – reinvent the hair salon of the future. The Portuguese final took place on April 11th with eleven teams, most of which from this initiative’s partner schools: Nova SBE, Católica-Lisbon, University Institute Of Lisbon (ISCTE), and School of Economics and Management of the University of Port (FEP). Nova SBE students made up for four out of the eleven teams. In fact, last year Nova SBE had already been the school with the highest number of teams in this competition.

The winning team will now have the chance to represent Portugal in Brandstorm’s world finals, which will take place in May, in Paris. To learn more about this innovative challenge and have a look at all the finalists, visit the event’s official page.
