Three Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) Master’s students have won the second place at Duff & Phelps' YOUniversity Deal Challenge, in which teams of business students to hone a broad range of skills and work to solve a complex transaction related to a key stage in business deal-making.

The YOUniversity Deal Challenge encourages students to team up with their peers and think of innovative and out of the box solutions. Participants apply technical reasoning and critical thinking through key stages of the deal-making process. Together, they put their skills to solve a complex transaction. If selected as finalists, teams present their solution to Duff & Phelps experts and nationally renowned faculty.

The winners are rewarded with intellectual recognition, networking opportunities and scholarship money as a way to encourage them for their potential as future leaders in Finance.

Kevin David Loesch, Fabian Gartner, and Jan Schroff, three Master’s in Management students at Nova SBE were placed 2nd among the 2019 challenge edition. Alongside our talented students, there were applicants from Oxford and Cambridge and finalists from London School of Economics and Université Paris-Dauphine.
