Eduardo Costa is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics, and a researcher in projects with the Nova Health Economics and Management Knowledge Center and the Lancaster University. He is currently the vice-president of the Portuguese Association for Health Economics.

He holds a PhD in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics. He has been a visiting researcher at the Boston University and at the Harvard School of Public Health. He has also coordinated the Human Resources commission of the Health Parliament Portugal, and has collaborated with the Budget Watch project from the Institute of Public Policy, on the State Budget for the Health Sector. Before his PhD, he used to work in a strategic management consulting firm.

Researcher in Health Economics. His research interests include the intersection between Health, Labour, and Public Economics. His aminterested in studying Health Spending Efficiency and Sustainability. Additionally, his study supply and demand side disruptions in health care provision, particularly with health professionals.
