Nova SBE, in collaboration with Observador published for the 5th consecutive year a schools ranking based on national secondary exams and a second ranking based on equity, an indicator that was used for the 1st time. Ana Balcão Reis stressed that "the ranking alone does not allow to assess the quality of a school", but it contributes to "greater transparency and accountability."
