Antonieta Cunha e Sá, Scientific Director of the Nova SBE Environmental Economics Knowledge Center, was invited to participate in the Roundtable on Blue Economy, Decarbonization and Combating Climate Change, within the scope of the Public Discussion of the National Strategy for the Sea 2021-2030. The initiative was attended by the Minister of the Sea, Ricardo Serrão Santos.

The vision of this new strategy is based on promoting a healthy ocean to boost the Portuguese economy, prosperity and well-being, and affirming Portugal's leadership in ocean governance, supported by scientific knowledge.
