The Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation (FFMS) published the study “Portuguese Companies in International Trade”, a work coordinated by João Amador. How complex is the participation of Portuguese companies in international trade? How do companies perceive barriers to internationalization? How are international traders of non-tourist services in Portugal characterized? Using the Portuguese current situation as basis for the analysis, this study aims to answer these questions and characterize the companies that operate in the international trade of goods and services, dealing with various dimensions, such as the sector of activity, age, size, productivity and profitability.
