Three of our PhD students presented their research at Encontro Ciência 2020. The poster by Eduardo Costa (Economics) was entitled License to kill? The impact of hospital strikes and evaluates the impact of 127 hospital strikes on the Portuguese National Health Service, between 2012 and 2018, on the activity of hospitals and patient results. Omid Asgari (Management) joined with a poster on Neuroentrepreneurship entitled Inside Out: Decoding Impact of Entrepreneurial Cognition on New Venture Ideas (NVIs). Yueling Zhou Lynn (Management) presented the poster Alliance as Courtship for Post-Acquisition Performance that investigates the factors that contribute to the success of post-acquisition performance.
