Daniel Traça was invited to the recently created think tank on the combat to fraud with European funds. This was an initiative of the Attorney General's Office that aims to identify areas of high risk of fraudulent behavior,  provide guidelines for preventing fraud in the management and control of European funds and develop methodologies to identify fraudulent behavior”. It will work for two years and will have representatives from the Public Ministry, the Court of Auditors, the Banco de Portugal, the Judiciary Police, among others.
