Pedro lectures Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring at Nova as an Assistant Professor Adjunct.
Pedro holds a MsC in Business from the Lisbon Catholic University, an INSEAD MBA and a Programme for Management Development - PMD from Harvard Business School.
Pedro serves Apollo Global Management as an Executive Board Member of operating companies (Europ Assistance, Advance Care International, Tranquilidade, Açoreana amongst others);
Previously worked as an Executive Director responsible for operations in Spain, Germany, France, South Africa and US for Sonae Group (Glunz AG, Tafisa and Isoroy amongst others subsidiaries).
For 15years served Mckinsey & Company and left as a Managing Director. Partner since 2007, played multiple leading roles both at Iberian Office and European level. He was Head of EMEA Corporate Finance and M&A Practice and supported many renowned institutions worldwide at the highest level. Pedro also had the chance to work for Goldman Sachs and Santander Investment Banking divisions specifically focused in M&A in the Financial Sector.
Throughout this period Pedro accumulated multiple teaching experiences at international leading business schools and is now a member of INSEAD and Harvard Business School Admission Committees.
