The plan of the Social Leapfrog is to go beyond this pilot and welcome yearly batches of up to 10 social organizations.
In the following editions of the program, the scouting of the participants will be done through a process of an open call, with clearly defined selection criteria and following a specific regulation.
The 2nd edition of the Social Leapfrog will begin in September 2020 and will accompany 10 more social organizations during a period of 3 years, until June 2023.
The program aims at Hybrid Social Organizations, i.e. simultaneously oriented towards the social mission and the generations of own revenues from the sale of products or services that fulfill the pre-defined list of eligibility criteria.
The selection of the participant organizations will take place in June and July of 2020, following the steps described below:
- Call Opening – June 1 to 15;
- Phase 1 – Evaluation and screening of the applicants – Top 15 decision – June 15 to 30;
- Delivery of a 5-minute pitch in video (applicable for the Top 15 only) – July 1 to 7;
- Phase 2 – Final Selection of the 10 pre-selected Organizations and communication of results – until July 31.
