To ensure that the market mechanism that was created worked (the Inclusive Recruitment Process), the ICF challenged several Portuguese companies to publicly commit to the inclusion of people with disabilities in their organizations. Thus, in March 2019, 24 large companies in Portugal signed the "Commitment to Inclusion." In this document, these companies declare their interest in promoting the employability of people with disabilities, thus recognizing the economic and social value of this reality for the company they represent, for their employees, and society.
Since then, the number of companies committed to inclusion has been increasing, already totaling 34 that have taken that commitment:
With the signing of the Commitment to Inclusion, companies benefit from ICF's support in operationalizing the first steps for the hiring of people with disabilities.
These are the 34 companies that currently have signed the Commitment to Inclusion.
